UNLV Rodeo

Scholarships are available on a case-by-case basis.  Coaches determine scholarship amounts based on academic performance, work ethic, and achievement in the rodeo arena.

Individuals who want information about becoming a member of the UNLV Rodeo Team are encouraged to speak with the coaches.  A video is often requested to evaluate competitiveness as well as high school or college transcripts. There will be a limit for both our Men's and Women's Teams.

Home-schooled students must meet SAT or ACT requirements to be admitted to UNLV. 

Points team members are reimbursed for fuel costs to and from rodeos, rooms are provided, along with per diem money for meals.

Team members stable at the McGinnis arena, riding distance from the Rockin' K where practices are held. This facility provides an arena, barn, outside covered corrals, and parking for trailers.
