Ranch sorting practice is scheduled every Wednesday and Saturday evening during the summer months: June 1 - September 30.  Start time is 7:00 PM and continues to approximately 9:30 - 10:00 PM.  Practice continues on Saturday's only from October 1 - May 31.  Start time is 10:00 AM.  Visit the website to see more information on our fabulous "Ride For The Riches" Ranch Sorting event!

Wednesday practice is for schooling horses and riders about reading, moving and sorting cows away from the herd. There are no numbers on the cattle and no timer or announcer. Everyone has a five minute limit but may school several times. The cost is $20.00 per horse for working the cattle and $5.00 a horse for non herd work.

Saturday practice is geared more toward actually sorting as if you were in competition. The cattle are numbered and there is a timer and an announcer. You may choose to ride with the same partner or put your name in the "bucket" and ride with a different partner each run. It is a great way to meet new people that have the same interest in horses as yourself. The cost is $20.00 per horse for sorting on cattle and $5.00 a horse for non herd work.
